The claims are particular to ICE agents only, not law enforcement broadly speaking. And the data is based on the most reliable data available. And yes, generally speaking, police work is more risky than working in a classroom, and yet, police officers at the state and local level don’t typically wear masks. Given this, what makes ICE agents unique? Why do they wear masks when their colleagues at other levels, who often face much higher risks, choose to show their faces and openly share their identities?

To think anyone supports a person in this country being dragged off into unmarked cars by masked men is frightening.
