Has NO IDEA what is going on in our Govt.
Federal spending has to be cut in all depts.
cutting is one thing, lying to promote
political hatred is still another.
He goes on to proclaim the “ gutting” of our parks
which is the farthest from the truth. His
victim stance only reflects that he is living in a fantasy land. Maybe,if he could make suggestions how to cut the waste instead of crying about it, may actually contribute something worthwhile. The reason for all this, cutting
waste and corruption is WAY Bigger than him.

He loved the park, the NPS, and our national parks. This distresses me (even more than when it happened in 2017).
loved your well-written article. If I may add 1 thing: When you write: “For no reason except the desire to cut the federal budget by eliminating as many staff members as possible, a team recruited by Elon Musk (under orders from President Trump) has slashed the workforces of our public land agencies.”

i agree, but i fear something more sinister, i fear our current president wants to shrink public lands for mining and drilling. He said as much numerous times. Not to mention his eye on the Indian Nations.

I’m hoping that we have national parks decades into the future.
