I just read “Yellow Dirt” and could not finish it. So inhumane to ignore the danger in nuclear waste and uranium mining, milling or anything. It’s poison. And, of course, if your community is poor and indigenous, you’re likely to see more results of the poison. Get real. Pueblo had runoff from the gold mine upstream a few years back–it’s called cyanide.
