This question was in another article on Mountain Journal. Americans appear to believe they can “have it all” – there seems to be so little comprehension that other species do need a bit of space to live in. The idea that Native Americans (America’s indigenous people) would like to have their sacred places remain sacred – not so much to ask considering they were the actual NATIVE Americans!
I remember years ago the term “the ugly american” – there was a reason for that.
I’m kind of putting all of us under that umbrella – so to speak. But I think people who dont agree with the “use it up before someone else does” mindset really need to speak out.
